The Italians have it all! Also in the kitchen! The culinary journey from Lake Garda to Sicily offers typical recipes embedded in the landscapes where they have been passed down + refined over generations.
The Wunderschön hosts track them down + present them in restaurants and private kitchens. On Lake Garda, they cook fresh-caught bluefish with cinnamon and capers. In South Tyrol, you'll find crusty Schüttelbrot and bread dumplings, Italianified.
In Milan, Tamina Kallert learns about a special Italian aperitif culture and, of course, risotto Milanese. Pasta specialties show the regions Tuscany and Sardinia. Rome and Naples shine with their pizza culture. A culinary highlight is also Sicily with stuffed squid in Malvasia wine + for dessert the traditional cannoli with sheep ricotta.
