Magic Gardens - Taman Ujung
Anak Agung, the last ruler of East Bali, had the water garden Taman Ujung built between 1912 and 1921, which had a high symbolic value. Situated between the sea and the wooded green slopes of the volcano Mount Agung, it was supposed to be an oasis of peace, but also serve religious ceremonies. With its water basins + meditation pavilions, the geometrically designed garden of Taman Ujung bears witness to a world that no longer exists in this form.
