My Job - Your Job Upper Bavarian Traditional Costume Tailors in Peru
The respective national costume, and how to make it, is the focus of this episode. Engelbert and Michael come from Berchtesgaden. Both are passionate about making lederhosen. At an altitude of around 3,800 meters lies the Comunidad Patabamba in Peru, where - exclusively by women - ponchos and similar garments are woven. Catalina + Nancy cut a "Hirschlederne" for the first time in their lives in Berchtesgaden, while the two Bavarians learn how to shear alpacas + then process the wool on a loom.
