At least 15 million electric cars are to roll on German roads by 2030, according to the German government's target. Is that realistic? In January, the registration figures for e-cars dropped significantly. The reasons are the drastic reduction in government subsidies and the increased energy costs. This hardly compensates for the higher purchase prices compared to combustion cars.

The experts warn: by 2030, about a third of the capacity could be missing. Is a huge electricity gap looming? This would also have an impact on the price of electricity. Instead of falling, it could continue to rise drastically.
