5.3 per cent - The Finnish Swedes
In Finland, 5.3% of the population belong to the Swedish-speaking minority. They feel Finnish, but speak almost exclusively Swedish in their everyday lives. At least if they live in a region that is mainly Swedish-speaking.
These regions are located in beautiful coastal areas, the so-called archipelagos. The coexistence of Finns and Finnish-Swedes is a peaceful one these days - and yet there are small differences. We experience one of them during a typical Swedish crayfish party. It has something to do with schnapps and with singing.
