Beautiful! - From the Jade Bay to Ammerland

The wooden mini-camper that Anne Wilmes is travelling with in the north-west of Lower Saxony is known as the ‘Knutschkugel’. She starts in Dangast on the Jade Bay, where the spa gardens and campsite are right by the sea. She then heads 30 kilometres south into Ammerland, which is famous for its rhododendron cultivation - and for the large number of tree nurseries. She cycles around the Zwischenahner Meer and the Aper Tief nature reserve. She conquers the only freshwater mudflats in the north-west in a dragon boat.
