The competition is fierce: only 32 breakers from all over the world will qualify to take part in the Olympics. The documentary series follows six German athletes during their preparations. Who will get a ticket to Paris? Breaking is Olympic - and the German B-girls are at the forefront of the race for the best places and qualification for the Summer Games in Paris. Jilou is one of them: she wants to be the first German breaker at the Olympics. But there is a long way to go. Of all people, 14-year-old Melina, the youngest and least experienced dancer, presents her with her first real challenge.

The German 2024 hopefuls are Jilou, Melina, Pauline, Chao-Lin, Said and M17 and they all have the same goal: to qualify for the Olympics. But places are scarce. Who will make it to Paris? The 6-part documentary series ‘Breaking - The Dream of Paris’ tells the story of their rocky road to the Olympic Games.
