Finally a country doctor - a new start with obstacles
And now also vaccination. The young physician, Dr. Anke Menikheim, has not had it easy so far since she was able to set up as a country doctor in Bittenfeld in 2018. Everything went well for two years, then Corona came. Out of fear of catching the disease, many patients stayed away for the time being. Hardly started, the doctor was threatened with massive loss of income. We accompanied Anke Menikheim with our camera for almost five years. From the search for her own practice, the outbreak of the Corona pandemic to the start of the nationwide vaccination campaign.
