Flying high - Switzerland above 3000 meters Paramedic with Air Zermatt - dream job in the Alps
The series provides insights into the everyday lives of people who pursue different passions and professions above 3000 meters above sea level. A professional mountaineer, a paramedic, a spotlight operator and a couple from a mountain hut take viewers up into the heights with them
The first episode focuses on Rebekka Frieden. She is 30 years old and works as a paramedic for Air Zermatt. She has realized her dream of being a paramedic in a helicopter through hard work. She is now the first woman in this position at Air Zermatt and has been flying her own helicopter since this spring.
SRF accompanied her and shows how she experiences her dream job in the Zermatt mountains, in a male-dominated environment, overcomes personal challenges and at the same time is aware of her role model function.
