The Peiffer brothers' family business has the perfect rolling turf. From Alt Zachun, they supply the green for soccer clubs all over the world. Now Hamburg's Volksparkstadion needs a new turf, and it, too, is to come from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. For this, the turf is nurtured and cared for for a whole year until it can then be peeled + laid in the soccer stadium. The company also supplies turf for private gardens. Cindy Harmann from Boldela near Schwerin has big problems with her lawn: brown spots, lots of weeds, holes in the lawn + moles. With gardener Starke she is working step by step on a healthy lawn. Greenkeeper Stephen Monk is responsible for five golf courses with a total of 72 holes at Golf & Country Club Fleesensee. To ensure that the ball can roll perfectly, he and his 25-strong team mow the grass to a length of four centimeters every day. Every day, he has to check anew how the lawn is doing.
