Justice - Die Justizreportage - The rage after the flood - When the insurance company doesn't want to pay
JUSTICE reports on flood victims fighting for their rights. Many people lost their homes during the catastrophic flooding of the Ahr and Wupper rivers in July 2021. Since then, there have been repeated disputes with insurance companies and the authorities. Those affected fear for their livelihoods and take legal action: they sue for damages and against contractual clauses that make it difficult to rebuild their homes.
