Small against big: The incredible duel
Athletics world star Carl Lewis on "Klein gegen Groß - Das unglaubliche Duell" (Small vs. Big - The incredible duel). When Kai Pflaume welcomes viewers to a new edition of "Klein gegen Groß - Das unglaublich Duell" (Small vs. Big - The Incredible Duel) on Ersten, he's especially looking forward to a visit from track and field superstar Carl Lewis.
With nine Olympic gold medals, including four in the long jump alone, Carl Lewis is still the most successful track and field athlete in Olympic history. His unique winning streak began in 1982 with four gold medals at the Madrid Olympics (100m, 200m, 4x100m + long jump). This was followed by two gold medals each in Seoul and Barcelona. At his fourth Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, the U.S. athlete won his fourth long jump gold medal in a row.
In "Little vs. Big," a little expert challenges the top star to a very special long jump competition. The duelists have to land their jumps with their feet in target circles of different sizes in order to score as many points as possible. Can the long jump talent land more jumps in the target than the unique King Carl?
