"Lebensretter hautnah - Wenn jede Sekunde zählt" shows the nerve-wracking work of rescue workers throughout Germany on a weekly basis. Thanks to the special camera technology, viewers experience the operations at close quarters. They feel, sense and see everything from the paramedics' point of view. In this series of reports, no door remains closed - whether it's a stabbing, resuscitation or accident. With a total of 15 cameras, the viewer is up close and personal when every second counts.
