Little against Big: The Incredible Duel

On the very first Saturday in the new year, Kai Pflaume invites viewers to a brand new episode of "Klein gegen Groß - Das unglaubliche Duell" (Small vs. Big - The Incredible Duel) on Ersten. In ten exciting duels, his celebrity guests face off against little experts.
For pop icon Nena, it's a journey back in time to the charts of the 80s. In her duel, the singer has to recognise the songs from an excerpt just one second long. Her opponent Ben (12) claims to have a better ear for the eighties than the singer.
For Günther Jauch, too, it's back to the old days. The task is to recognise vintage cars with the hands alone. Can the presenter develop enough intuition when feeling wings and rear lamps to recognise more classic cars than ten-year-old Tom?
In the gourmet duel, in which journalist and author Ulrich Wickert will compete, less feeling is required, but an extremely good sense of smell and taste: blindly tasting cheese varieties must be recognised. Will Johanna (10) or Ulrich Wickert, holder of the title "Maître Honoris Caseus" of the French Cheese Guild, have the better nose?
Some think the exquisite scent of fine cheeses is just "pong", and multitalented Olli Dittrich knows all about that. Olli Dittrich not only shines as an actor and comedian, he is also an outstanding musician, which he impressively proved with "Den Doofen" and "Texas Ligthning", among others. A duel on the aerial percussion awaits him against nine-year-old Damian.
Even three-time Olympic champion Jens Weißflog has not yet had such a hill under his skis as in "Klein gegen Groß". Instead of snow, the challenge is to ski over raw eggs without breaking them. Marcel (11) claims that he breaks fewer eggs in the downhill than "flea" Jens Weißflog.
Things get spectacular in "Klein gegen Vogel": Ten-year-old Niclas claims to be able to steer a skid steer faster through a slalom course on the front wheels only than Jürgen Vogel. He has already proved several times in "Klein gegen Vogel" that the actor has a knack for machines and engines. Will he be able to drive home the victory this time too?
Of course, Nena's fans can also look forward to an appearance by probably the most successful German singer. Nena will present "Back to the Future" from her new album "Licht".
