Nearly 14,000 students learn behind old walls + in ultra-modern buildings. The young people from all over Germany shape the cityscape in the city + at the edge of the harbor.
The sea + the university's good reputation have also lured Svenja Rehagen from Schwerin to Rostock. The 24-year-old wants to become a teacher. Until then she lives in a shared flat + improves her budget as a waitress in one of the many student bars.
