Regional cuisine is absolutely trendy. In the first episode of this season's "Simple and Delicious" series, top chef Björn Freitag serves snacks that he prepares using products from our country - quickly and without a lot of frills. On the menu are parsnip purée with crispy strips of duck breast, potato pancakes with trout mousse and sweet semolina with cherry ragout. Very simple and really delicious.
As usual, Björn Freitag reveals many a secret of his cooking skills and gives lots of practical tips. This time, the viewers also have their say: In small kitchen videos, they talk about bad luck + mishaps in cooking and ask the cook their questions.
